Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Nuvo Innovations collects, uses, stores, and protects information when tenants and users access NuvoTime.
1. Information We Collect
Account and Contact Data
We collect information needed to create and manage accounts, such as name, email address, phone number, login identifiers, business name, billing details, and support communications.
Workforce and Operations Data
Tenants and their users may enter employee records, roles, locations, schedules, availability, time entries, open shifts, requests, tasks, forms, reports, equipment records, maintenance logs, payroll settings, pay estimates, and related approvals.
Uploaded Images and Files
NuvoTime may store images, photos, documents, and other files uploaded by tenants or their authorized users through tasks, forms, reports, equipment records, or similar features.
Device, Kiosk, and Location Data
We may collect device, browser, IP address, diagnostic, audit, kiosk, and usage data. If a tenant enables GPS or location capture, NuvoTime may collect approximate or precise location records for check-ins, check-outs, tasks, reports, or location setup.
2. How We Use Information
Operate NuvoTime
We use information to provide scheduling, kiosk, time tracking, task, reporting, equipment, payroll estimate, request, notification, storage, support, security, and administration features.
Security and Reliability
We use logs, audit records, device information, and account activity to protect NuvoTime, investigate errors, prevent abuse, detect unauthorized access, and maintain service reliability.
Product Support and Improvement
We may use aggregated, de-identified, or diagnostic information to troubleshoot, improve performance, develop features, and understand how NuvoTime is used. We do not sell personal information.
3. Tenant Control, Consent, and Uploaded Content
Tenant as Data Controller
For employee and operational records entered by a tenant, the tenant usually decides what information is collected, why it is collected, how long it is retained, and who can access it. Nuvo Innovations processes that information to provide NuvoTime.
Employee Notices and Consents
Tenants are responsible for giving legally required privacy notices and obtaining any consents needed for employee information, photos, GPS records, payroll data, reports, and other workplace records they collect or upload through NuvoTime.
Uploaded Images
Nuvo Innovations does not determine whether a tenant-uploaded image is appropriate, lawful, necessary, or consented to. Tenants are responsible for the images and files their users upload and for handling employee, customer, visitor, or third-party privacy rights related to those uploads.
4. Retention and Deletion
Business Data Retention
Business records are retained while the tenant account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or maintain backups and audit logs.
Image Retention and Removal
Tenants may delete records or remove images where NuvoTime provides those controls. Deleted images may be removed from active storage, while limited copies can remain temporarily in backups, logs, or caches where required for security, recovery, or legal reasons.
Account Closure
After an account is closed, Nuvo Innovations may delete or de-identify business data according to its retention practices, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
6. Your Rights and Contact
Access, Correction, and Deletion
Depending on your location and relationship to a tenant, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. Employees should often contact their employer first because the tenant controls many workplace records in NuvoTime.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests directed to Nuvo Innovations, contact hello@nuvoshift.com. We may need to verify your identity and may direct employee requests to the tenant that controls the business data.
