Cookies & browser storage
How NuvoTime uses cookies and browser storage, and how you control optional purposes.
Your choices
Optional means optional
Nuvo Innovations operates NuvoTime. Website analytics and referral attribution are separate, optional purposes, both off until you choose them. Use Cookie settings in the public website footer to accept, reject, or change your choices. Closing the dialog does not grant consent. Advertising consent remains denied.
Remembering your choice
The first-party nuvotime_privacy_v1 cookie stores your choices, policy version, and timestamp for 180 days. A localStorage entry with the same name signals changes to other tabs; it holds only the last change timestamp and remains until site data is cleared. Missing, malformed, expired, or outdated consent is treated as no permission. We ask again after expiry or material changes to purposes. If cookies cannot be saved, optional tracking stays off.
Necessary and requested functionality
Authentication and security
Supabase authentication uses sb- project-specific cookies to maintain sign-in; lifetime and refresh follow the authentication session configuration. NuvoTime device authorization cookies (nuvotime_kiosk_device_*, nuvotime_employee_device) can last up to one year. They authorize requested workplace access and are not marketing identifiers.
Preferences and offline work
NuvoTime remembers requested language and location selections in cookies for up to one year, and uses localStorage for theme, workspace, sidebar, schedule/project views, guides and drafts. IndexedDB supports offline work and local kiosk photos. These local records generally remain until overwritten, removed by the relevant feature, or cleared in browser site settings. Clearing necessary storage can sign you out or remove unsynced work. Camera, location and push notification access have separate browser and application controls.
Optional website analytics
Google Analytics
After analytics consent, Google receives visits to public NuvoTime marketing, blog, help and legal pages, along with browser/device and network information. We exclude URL queries, fragments and referrers from the page views we send. The Google tag is not loaded before permission. Our implementation uses _ga and _ga_* first-party cookies, configured for 180 days without refreshing their expiry on each visit. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled in code. Google may process information in the United States and other countries.
NuvoTime blog and help statistics
With the same analytics choice, NuvoTime stores article/post identifiers, browser user-agent and a random session identifier in Supabase for view counts. _blog_sid and _help_sid in sessionStorage last for the browser tab session. The deployed database retention schedule and Google account data retention are controlled separately from browser cookie expiry; contact hello@nuvotime.com for retention or deletion requests.
Optional referral attribution
Invitations and campaign measurement
With referral consent, nuvotime_referral_code remembers a referral code for up to 30 days. Campaign visits and registration visits can set the HttpOnly nuvotime_campaign_visitor cookie for up to 30 days. NuvoTime stores campaign counts and a hashed visitor identifier in Supabase. Registration can associate a referral with your account and reward records. Without permission, referral links can still open their destination, but optional cookie storage and attribution are blocked.
Withdrawal and scope
Change or withdraw at any time
Open Cookie settings and choose Reject optional, or turn a category off and Save preferences. We stop subsequent optional tracking, remove accessible cookies for that category and clear analytics session identifiers. A server request deletes the HttpOnly campaign cookie. Withdrawal does not erase data already collected or cancel requests already sent. Contact hello@nuvotime.com about existing records. You can also clear site data in your browser.
Workplace and customer content
These optional trackers are limited to public NuvoTime pages. They do not run on employee/workspace, admin, kiosk, NFC, invitation or public customer invoice pages. Signing in, workplace processing, email and requested Stripe payments have separate purposes and are not authorized by this banner. Following external links takes you to services with their own privacy practices.
International processing
Cookie permission is separate from the legal requirements for transferring personal information internationally. Providers such as Google and Supabase may process data outside your country, where authorities may have lawful access. This notice does not assert a particular hosting region, adequacy status, contract or transfer safeguard for your data. Contact Nuvo Innovations for information about the arrangements applicable to your service.
