Abuse Guidelines

Last updated: September 1, 2026
Effective: September 1, 2026

These guidelines explain conduct and content that is not allowed on NuvoTime, including rules for tenant email, uploaded images, files, reports, kiosk use, and business access.

1. Prohibited Conduct

Activities that may result in restriction, suspension, or termination.

Illegal or Harmful Use

Do not use NuvoTime to violate laws, infringe rights, commit fraud, harass others, threaten harm, discriminate unlawfully, impersonate someone, or collect information without required authority or consent.

Security Abuse

Do not attempt to access another tenant's business account, bypass permissions, interfere with the service, upload malware, scrape data, probe systems, or misuse APIs, kiosks, employee PINs, invitations, or authentication flows.

False Records

Do not intentionally create false time entries, payroll records, reports, approvals, equipment logs, checklist responses, GPS records, or other operational records.

2. Uploaded Images, Files, and Reports

Tenant Responsibility

Tenants and authorized users are responsible for every image, file, report, note, checklist response, and other item they upload or submit. They must have the rights, authority, and consent needed to collect and upload that content.

Prohibited Uploads

Do not upload unlawful, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, explicit, non-consensual, defamatory, infringing, or privacy-invasive content. Do not upload sensitive documents, medical information, customer images, visitor images, or images of minors unless you have a lawful business need and required consent.

Removal Rights

Nuvo Innovations may remove, block, or restrict content that appears to violate these guidelines, the Terms of Service, third-party rights, or applicable law. Nuvo Innovations does not assume responsibility for tenant-uploaded content by taking or not taking such action.

3. Email and Electronic Communications

Permission and Lawful Contact

Do not use NuvoTime email to contact a person without the authority, consent, or other lawful basis required by applicable privacy, marketing, and anti-spam laws. Tenants are responsible for maintaining accurate recipient information, consent records, suppression lists, and required identification or unsubscribe mechanisms.

Prohibited Messages

Do not send spam, deceptive promotions, phishing, malware, unlawful solicitations, impersonation, harassment, threats, infringing content, privacy-invasive material, or messages designed to evade provider filters, rate limits, complaint controls, or legal requirements.

Sender Identity and Domains

Do not falsify sender information, misuse another person's identity, use a domain without authorization, or allow unauthorized users to access an approved sender or shared mailbox. Tenants must secure their connected provider account, domains, API credentials, sender profiles, and user permissions.

Delivery Reputation and Limits

Nuvo Innovations may impose or adjust sending limits, block a message, disable a sender, disconnect an email integration, preserve relevant records, or suspend email access when reasonably necessary to protect recipients, provider reputation, platform security, legal compliance, or service availability.

4. Tenant Admin Responsibilities

User Access

Tenant owners and administrators are responsible for inviting the right users, assigning suitable roles, removing users who no longer need access, and supervising how staff use kiosk, mobile, task, report, image, and time tracking features.

Workplace Policies

Tenants should communicate their own workplace policies for photo capture, GPS use, time tracking, break records, reporting, payroll review, harassment, safety, equipment, and data retention.

5. Platform Integrity

Service Misuse

NuvoTime may not be used to overload infrastructure, disrupt other customers, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, resell unauthorized access, or use the service in a way that harms platform reliability or security.

Automated Abuse

Bots, scripts, automated account creation, credential stuffing, spam, and excessive or abusive requests are prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing by Nuvo Innovations.

6. Review and Enforcement

Investigation

Nuvo Innovations may review account activity, audit logs, reports, support requests, and relevant records when investigating suspected misuse, security issues, illegal activity, or violations of these guidelines.

Possible Actions

Depending on the issue, Nuvo Innovations may warn users, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate access, preserve records, notify tenant administrators, or cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

7. Reporting Abuse

How to Report

Report suspected abuse, security issues, privacy concerns, or unlawful content to hello@nuvotime.com. Include the business, user, date, and relevant details if available.

False or Malicious Reports

Knowingly submitting false, misleading, or malicious reports may result in account restrictions or other enforcement actions.
